Colors Badge: America
Ain't perfect, no.
But we can love it
(Support our troops with gratitude & service, NOT more endless war!)
I love my country, the United States of America. You know, during the 2016 election, when the Democratic leadership screwed over Senator Sanders and His Majesty King Yamface and the other crooks took power, and all sorts of horrible things were happening and being said, I was afraid. But kindness, unity, and bravery seem to be taking hold in the face of this hellish government, somehow. People coming together, fighting for real American values in the face of seemingly overwhelming opposition, and actually making a LOT of headway!
So yeah, if you haven't figured it out before seeing this page, I am a European-style socialist. To pretend otherwise to keep from scaring away conservatives would feel like crooked behavior. I do have conservative friends and relatives whom I love though. Opinions can differ on how to best make the country run smoothly. Supporting Dump Tron even after all he's been showing of his true, orange face, though, isn't conservativity, it's bigotry and self-destructive. If you support him and are angry enough not to buy my stuff as a result, well, sorry. Go fry your ass.
But America is more than just politics, and more even than our people's tenacity. We have some damn good food. Cheeseburgers, apple crumble (not apple pie believe it or not), hot dogs, Eggs Benedict, the Reuben sandwich, clam chowder... Oh, for crying out loud! Here, Wikipedia! If I keep listing American foods, I'm going to get hungry again and I already ate dinner. We're a lot more varied and creative in our cuisine than many people think!
We have some damn beautiful national and state parks too. I have many happy memories in Franconia Notch in New Hampshire, and there's so much more to see. Music? Oh, forget it, too amazing. I mean a lot of the music I love is British, but it's based on American music. Jazz, country, blues, composers of many kinds... I'll shut up now before I get carried away. TL,DR version: America is awesome.
